Positive Affirmations – Getting Anything and Everything You Want
Affirmations are our thoughts, inner dialog, and self-talk. We have a continuous stream of affirmations, sometimes we are not even aware of what we say to ourselves. Positive Affirmations are those that create positive energy, flow, behavior, and results in our life. Negative affirmations are the ones that hold us back and that attract failure and negatively. Negative affirmations need to be eliminated and replaced with patterns that are constructive.
Getting what you want can be as easy as acting and reacting as if you want it. Stop being in your own way, and allow the flow of your positive thoughts to create your reality. Determine what you want and consider what internally held beliefs are generating obstacles. Once you have done this you are able to consciously create positive affirmations that will replace the negative self-talk. Using Positive Affirmations consistently will keep you focused on your goals and remind you to be conscious of your inner dialog. As you become more proficient at positive affirmations, there will be no room for negative self-talk.
Get everything and anything you want and desire in life. The more you are able to chip away at long-held, erroneous, and deep-seated negative internal beliefs, the more you are able to allow the results of positive affirmations into your life. When every thought, word, and deed is focused on your goals, you will only have room to achieve what you most desire.
Allow your positive, worthy, and approachable persona to flourish and shine. That persona is you without the negative affirmations. Negative affirmations are just beliefs such as, “I can’t”, “I could never”, “That would never happen”, “there’s no way”, “that would be impossible”, “I don’t think I could”, and you get the idea.
Nearly 90% of our thoughts are negative. Now you know why people do not achieve their goals. All that negative energy attracts the negative things we dread! Watch the movie entitled, “The Secret”, for more detailed information on the Law of Attraction, and how people generally attract the things they dread the most into their lives. Things negative usually include bad relationships, poor health, poverty or debt, bad luck, lack of friendships, poor grades in school, car troubles – the list goes on and on!
Turn this around, and make your thoughts become 90% – 100% positive. Achieve your dreams! Achieve you goals! Live the life you’ve always dreamed of, but never believed would ever be possible for you. Just know that you have the power to change things. You can absolutely without a doubt live a life you never imagined possible – if you just change the way you think, and use affirmations to your benefit. It works every time – guaranteed.

Developing Emotional Intelligence
All of us have heard of IQ or Intelligence Quotient, a study that measures how intelligent we are through a series of tests conducted by the school or in the workplace. All this time, it is highly assumed that Intelligence Quotient would determine how successful we are in the future or how we could achieve that goal in a specific time.
But there is another factor that psychologists deem to be one of the contributors to determine if the person would be successful or not, and that is, the Emotional Intelligence, or EQ.
According to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emotional_intelligence) emotional Intelligence is defined as “the ability, capacity or skill to perceive, assess and manage the emotions of one’s self, of others and of groups.” In other words, it is described that Emotional Intelligence is actually the way in which you interact with people, and how you relate to them.
Some psychologists believe that relating with people is more important than having what is inside in one’s head. According to wikipedia, some researchers believe that EQ is “a cognitive ability just as is IQ, others believe it is a combination of perceived abilities and traits, while others consider it a skill that can be measured.”
With this, researchers have found out that one of the benefits of Emotional Intelligence is how to deal and manage conflict or negotiation in school, in the home and in the workplace.
So, how does one develop emotional intelligence?
Here are some ways in order to develop Emotional Intelligence, as suggested by the website http://www.eqi.org, in a nutshell.
When dealing with Emotional Intelligence, it is best that your feelings or actions shouldn’t be centered on you. In truth, it should be directed towards the people around you – ask them how they feel about their current situation, and have the ability to reflect on what they feel. Have a compassionate heart towards your friends by empathizing with them, caring for them, and relating how they fell towards you.
Be a leader, too, by taking responsibility for your actions and feelings. Don’t rely on others to make you happy. Rely on yourself to make yourself happy.
Developing emotional intelligence may take some time and effort, but the most important thing is that you have to be conscious of your actions; you have to be conscious of not just your won feelings but the feelings of others as well.
And just try to follow this advice. This is essential to being successful.

Are you in a mood? Because we’re all in a mood of some sort all of the time. The problem is it’s as variable as what’s going on around us. We get down when things don’t go our way, we get a kick out of something as simple as a compliment! Your mood shouldn’t be so susceptible to external factors which we can’t control when we can totally control our own state of mind. If you do take control you will greatly influence your success and happiness.

A Guide To Self Improvement Techniques
May 20, 2010 by Oliver
An ordered life is one of the most assured methods of self-improvement. The saying “tidy desk – tidy mind” is also certainly true but only a small part of it. It is important that you order your life in such a manner that allows you to do everything you need to, when you need to do it. You should also be able to effectively ensure that you become happier and more content as well as progress with your career, make new friends and anything else you want in life.
While work is important, you should always make time to spend with your family and a little personal time. This personal time could be an excellent opportunity to take up a physical hobby. Exercising helps to clear the mind and produce chemicals in your body that are essential and often lacking. Modern living involves greater working hours and less personal time. Inevitably this has led to less interactivity.
Always set goals for yourself to aid in your progress. Increasing the amount of exercise you do will only usually be beneficial or successful if you have a reason to do it. If you simply want to get fitter and stay healthy then set yourself an achievement. If you currently walk 1 mile a day then aim to walk 5 miles a day. When you are walking 5 miles a day, consider if there is any way you can improve this further.
Time with your family and friends is also essential. We are social animals by nature and so human interaction is not only natural but it is healthy and pleasurable. Taking up a sport with a friend or group of friends would combine exercise with interaction and be perfect. Your friends may turn out to be the extra motivation you require in the event of difficult times.
